Douglas College Fall Fair coming your way!

The 4th annual Douglas College Fall Fair, hosted by the Douglas College Alumni Association and the Foundation, is set for Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 from 10am-2pm on the Campus Green at the Coquitlam Campus, rain or shine.

The purpose of the event is to:

• Promote Douglas College programs and raise money for student aid
• Provide a fun, family-oriented event for the Tri-Cities community
• Showcase the Coquitlam Campus

We invite all departments to participate by showcasing their programs and providing fun activities for families. In the last three years, for example, Animal Health Technology offered Pet Pedicures; Psychology hosted intriguing demonstrations for kids; Campus Life introduced a variety of sports and skills contests; Community Music School showcased musicians and let children try out a variety of instruments.

As well as Douglas College programs, external vendors, craftspeople and community groups will be invited to participate and Chartwells is providing a barbecue.
