Concert Series: An Evening of Jazz

The Douglas College Music Department presents An Evening of Jazz
featuring the DC Night Band led by Blair Fisher and the DC Dues Band led
by John van Deursen, with special guests The Jazz Connexion led by
Cameron Hood. Admission is free; collected proceeds go toward Douglas

Toastmasters Open House

are invited to a special meeting of Douglas Toastmasters. Come and
listen to a presentation on Mustapha Lansana’s contest-winning speech,
“Living In The Present,” during our Open House. Mustapha will teach you
how to make your audience go “wow” when you speak. Find out how

direction of John van Deursen featuring the music of Bach, McBeth,
Arnold, Reed and more, plus performances by the DC Percussion Ensemble
led by Robert Caldwell. Admission is free; collected proceeds go toward

collecting non-perishable food items to give to Douglas students in need
over the holiday season. Get your picture taken with "Santa" Roary, and
enjoy colouring, a candy count contest, free candy and other games.
